My Heroes

I have wanted to share about the people who have inspired me to pursue my passions. Sadly, laziness and work delayed me.

I have to thank my hubby who started this blog for me. He had helped me with the designs - logo, blog and the nice pictures taken (some of the not-so-nice photos were taken by me and you will be able to see the differences) and most importantly his support and love for me to pursue my passions - handiworks.

I always enjoy crocheting, sewing and doing handicrafts but had never thought of venturing further. It all started with his friends. I crocheted booties for his friends' children on their 1st month birthdays and received thanks and encouragement. I was so happy and touched. So I started doing more for friends - sewed clothes, accessories, toys, crocheted more booties, hat and cardigan.

I bought my first sewing machine and met Mui at the sewing class. Our friendship started. My hubby and I attended an exhibition held at the Singapore Museum by her hubby - Tan Haur. Both Mui and Tan Haur are into Arts. They have inspired us greatly, really greatly. It is difficult for me to put in words on how they have inspired us. I must really say THANK YOU to both of them because they have inspired us to pursue our passions - handiworks and photography.

There is meaning to life now.
